
This Venezuelan rum from Destilería Carúpano combines a selection of rum aged in American oak barrels with some of its special reserves, aged up to 12 years. The folks at Carúpano recommend enjoying this neat over ice or topped with tonic or soda water, garnished with some lemon peel.
Deep notes of burnt brown sugar, maple, and dried fruit, with sultanas, cinnamon, woody spices, and a touch of damp oak.
